Altona Street

A multi-residential development that includes 22 Residential Units, a combination of 20 two-bedroom and 2 three-bedroom apartments located within walking distance of Kings Park and Hay Street. This development includes a double height podium facing Altona Street, a cluster of native vegetation and a green wall which provides a sense of openness and facilitates engagement with the street. As a means of passively ventilating the ground and first floors, the podium level consists of punched openings and permeable screening, covered with vegetation to help improve air quality.

The narrow site provides a strong northern and southern aspect looking over Kings Park and Perth’s CBD. The buildings orientation also allows for maximum daylight access to its northern façade whilst deep balconies and terraces protect glazed openings to the east and west. It is envisaged that the Altona Apartments project will continue to enhance this precinct as a living and working environment.
