“Our brief was for a downsizer with a mid-century vibe and a point of difference. It needed to be energy-efficient, low-maintenance, have good storage, with texture, and wall space to accommodate our art collection. Our home takes advantage of the northern aspect, and achieves all we desired.
The spectacular butterfly roof, textured brickwork and marriage of timber and floor-to-ceiling glass provides the ‘wow’ factor. We love the flow between our living and dining open space, to the landscaped courtyards making entertaining easy. It’s comfortable and a pleasure to live in.”

"We engaged Klopper & Davis Architects in 2014 to design and manage the build of our new home. Some of their previous projects convinced us that they were able to effectively design spacious, liveable homes on tight, inner-city blocks which was what we were after in an architect. Our block had an effective working area of 210sqm.
Sam & Matt were able to design a beautiful home whilst taking into account their clients needs and tastes. They also managed the tender process for the building contract, council approval & eventually administration of the construction. Matt ensured the project was built to the high standards expected of Klopper & Davis Architects and their clients.
